Growing In Unity – Day 4. And A Giveaway!

It’s Thursday and that means Day 4 of our Growing in Unity week.  We’re coming down to the home stretch.  If you missed any previous posts this week, you can click on the following links to see them.  DAY 1  DAY 2  DAY 3

Today’s card uses the Life Documented Banner (Simple Stories Itty Bitty) stamp kit from Unity.  I started with a white cardstock base, and used a window die that a friend of mine cut for me.  Behind the window is a second piece of white cardstock that I covered with Distress Inks in Mustard Seed, Rusty Hinge, Seedless Preserves, and Chipped Sapphire, to give the appearance of a sunset.

I stamped the banner in various colors and patterns and fussy cut each one out.  I mounted them onto the page with a piece of twine behind them to give the appearance of the banner hanging on the window.  I popped up a “celebrate” sticker from SEI and called this card DONE!

Remember our awesome giveaway this week…it’s a grab bag of 25 random Unity stamps going to two different winners!  Just leave a comment on any or all of the Growing In Unity posts this week to enter.  Please remember to leave your email address in case you’re a winner.

Happy Scrapping!

Love this card! Great job on the sunset. I would love to sit and look out that window!Question though…what did you use to attach the banner to the twine? I've never found any adhesive that I'm very happy with. Thanks for sharing this card with us today.
