Welcome to today’s Growing in Unity post, featuring Unity Stamps. If you missed yesterday’s post, you can click HERE to see it.
I’m always excited when I can take a themed stamp set, and do something completely different with it than what was originally intended. That’s the case with today’s card. It uses a kit called, “About the Inches,” and it’s a GREAT set to document your weight loss journey.

I just paired the stamps with some pink cardstock, blue ink and sweet crocheted flowers, and made it a pregnancy announcement.
I used the chevron background stamp from the kit (awesome for all kinds of uses) along with two of the sentiments, “big changes,” and, “coming soon.” I die cut a little pink heart for the middle. I realized, after the card was already made that a cute little die cut of a baby bottle or rattle would be great inside the heart.
Everything was matted on black cardstock, and I called this card finished!

Remember our awesome giveaway this week…it’s a grab bag of 25 random Unity stamps going to two different winners! Just leave a comment on any or all of the Growing In Unity posts this week to enter. Please remember to leave your email address in case you’re a winner.

Pretty background and layering! I love the pretty flower embellishments too!
Fun card. Great colours and idea. Hugz
Wow, I've never even seen this set..but what a great way to use it for a weight loss journal! Such a creative and fun design.
I just love your decorated journal. It's a simple but pretty way to fancy up a notebook and keep you motivated too.
What a great idea to use these stamps for a pregnancy announcement! I love the background… there is no limit to what that could be used for. I could see the Big Changes stamp being used for scrapbooking a child going off to college or starting to drive. And The Fit Life could be altered to replace Fit with "Good" or "Salt" or whatever the in phrase is in your area (Salt life is what they say near the beach). karenpagedave at yahoo dot com

Love this card! My son and DIL are expecting their first child, so this would be perfect for them. I would have never thought to use this set for a new baby card, which is probably why I never even thought about buying it. You have just made me add it to my wish list!
What a clever way to use this set! Love the look!
