Perfect Alpha Spacing Every Time!

Have you ever fought with trying to space alpha stickers perfectly on your scrapbook layout?  Do your palms get all sweaty when you’re about to stick alpha stickers on your almost finished page?  Have you ever ruined a page by not having as much room for your title as you thought you had?  Well today’s Money-Saving Monday post should help! (So, I totally sounded like a commercial there, didn’t I?!?)

I’m not much of a sticker girl anymore but I do love using Thickers from time to time.  Here’s a little trick I’ve been using for the past several years.   Wax Paper!!

I keep a sheet of wax paper in my craft room and every time I need to stick alphas on a projects, I lay the wax paper over it first, then put the stickers on to make sure they’ll fit in the allotted place, and to get them spaced correctly. Since they won’t permanently stick to the wax paper, I can pick them up and move them til I’m happy with their placement.  Plus, since the wax paper is see-through, I can make sure everything will fit properly, and then simply transfer the stickers from the wax paper to my project!

Super easy and no more measuring!  Woohoo!  Have you ever used this method before?

Happy Scrapping!

I use the old Creative Memories title topia product. much the same concept except there is a plastic piece with different shaped lines to "line up" your letters and place them in place then lift off the wax sheet…you might try that with blank template plastic?
