WOYWW # 259: Bridal Shower Edition!

Happy Wednesday and happy Whats On Your Workdesk Wednesday!  Welcome to the weekly peek of crafter’s desks all over the world!  Literally, you can see what other crafters from England, Scotland, Australia, South Africa, and tons of other places are working on.  It’s fascinating!

Welcome to my mess desk!  I was in such a flurry of paper last week getting ready for my daughter’s wedding shower, that I just started piling things up and going as fast as possible.  And when I went in just now to tke the photo, I realized that, not only did I NOT clean up my mess, I haven’t even been back in there since I finished everything last Friday!  I don’t know about you, but sometimes I have a marathon crafting session and then I just have to detox for a few days!

I absolutely hate to say this, but I completely forgot to take pictures of all the projects I worked on for the shower, except for the food cards below.  I made the bride and groom a pocket pages book out of a Snap Book.  I added a few of their engagement photos, and tons of extra pages.  It came out SO GOOD and I keep hitting myself upside the head for not taking pics!!  The next time I see her, I’ll have camera in hand, and then feature it with more information.

Here’s a close up of the book, but you can’t tell a whole lot about it  🙁

I DID manage to take some pics of the cards I made for the food table.  I don’t know about you, but when I’m at a party or pot luck with lots of random food, I won’t eat something if I don’t know what it is.  Because of that, I always like to make little signs showing what the different dishes are.  And I notice A LOT more food gets eaten that way too!

I have the WOYWW button/badge hidden in the top photo.  If you decide to search, let me know if you find it!!

I’m off to go desking!  See you soon!

Happy Scrapping!

Oh the bride looks so happy and I'm not surprised you forgot to take photos – it's the last thing on your mind when you're getting everything done! Top tip about the food labels too – never thought of it that way for a big pot luck..

I'm with Julia, that's a great idea for the food table. I might steal that idea for the Crop lunch this Saturday!

I have serious food allergies and I am with you on the labels for food. I sure appreciate people who do label things and these ones look fantastic. You really have excelled yourself, I do hope you are enjoying it too. Don't detox for too long and take more photos please.

Have a great week. Oh and the badge is right in the middle

Making decorations and albums for a wedding shower sounds very overwhelming to me, so I can understand why you didn't think of taking photographs of all the projects. The food table cards are very clever, and may need to keep them in mind for when I plan an even like yours. Happy WOYWW and Blessings! #65
