I always loved Budda statues when I was a little girl and was told to rub the belly for good luck. Not sure if that’s still PC these days or not, but it was a fond memory nonetheless! I used a few little tricks and techniques to make today’s card. I started with white cardstock and stamped my image with black Memento Ink. Then I embossed the page with a bamboo embossing folder. I brushed Tim Holtz Distress Ink very lightly over the embossed area to bring out the bamboo. Then I masked my Budda image while I sponged on several colors of Distress Ink to make the background. Finally, I colored my image with Bic Mark-Its and Spectrum Noir markers.
