Super Bowl FEVER!!!!

For those of you that don’t know, I live in a small town near Seattle Washington.  That being said, if you’re a Denver Broncos fan, you might want to stop reading now!   I’M SO FREAKING EXCITED about the Super Bowl this weekend!!!! The Seattle Seahawks will be playing some other team…I dunno, I think they wear orange.  In any case, GO HAWKS!!!!

My layout this week (if I haven’t made it obvious yet) is all about the big game this weekend!  The Color Challenge this week at Mark’s Finest Papers is to use green, yellow and brown.  This color combo worked perfectly for my layout, although I had to add a little Seahawks blue in there with the green!

I started with my trusty Silhouette Cameo, and went onto the Silhouette store for something awesome!  I found a super-cute cutting file from Paper Piecings by Nikki.  The title said Football Sunday since the NFL is so creepy about businesses not using the term Super Bowl, but since I’m not a business, I changed it!  That’s one of the things I love so much about my Silhouette.  You can move things and change them and do all sorts of designs to make things work for you!!!

I dug out a Mark’s Finest Paper’s stamp set from last Fall called Tailgate Party which is all about sports, so it was perfect for my layout!  I stamped the sentiment “Go Team” on green cardstock.
I haven’t put any photos on my layout yet, since I’m waiting to take VICTORY pics this weekend!  Husband has already said that when the Seahawks win, he’s going to run up and down our street waving his 12th Man flag and screaming at the top of his lungs!  Oh yeah….we’ll have some photos THEN!  GO HAWKS!
Who are you rooting for on Sunday?!?

Happy Scrapping!

Hi! I just purchased this same layout in the Sihouette store, but how did you change the word to say superbowl? I can't find the font to purchase…maybe I just don't know the right font. Thanks so much!
