Happy New Year!!!  I can’t believe it’s 2014 already…the past year just seemed to ZOOM by.  2013 left our family with some wonderful milestones, most importantly, our first grandchild!

Look at that face!!  I fall more in love every time I see it!

2014 is sure to bring us more fun, and we’ll see another expansion to our family as our daughter marries the love of her life in July.

Hmmm…do you think we’re Seahawks fans?!?  (GO SEAHAWKS!!!!)  We’re super excited about planning a wedding! Woo hoo!!

Okay…on to business!  In celebrating the new year, I decided to make a card with the perfect New Year’s stamp set!

I found some beautiful, glittery silver paper that I wanted to incorporate into a shiny card for the new year.  I thought that combining it with silver embossing powder would be interesting, and I really like the way it came out!  I used Mark’s Finest Paper’s New Years stamp set, which was perfect for my card!!

Here’s a peek at the sentiment on the inside of the card!

Thanks for joining me on this special day!

Happy Scrapping!
