So….it was 27 degrees outside when I woke up yesterday morning 🙁 It’s November. I’m still really trying to be in denial thinking that summer is still here…but I’m losing the fight. So, in protest, I decided to make a summery beach scrapbook layout for this week’s Mark’s Finest Paper Scrapbook Challenge
Please consider joining us this week over at the Scrapbook Challenge on MFP Speedy TV Remember this challenge is strictly scrapbook layouts, no cards please. You have to use stamps on your pages. They don’t have to be Marks Finest Papers, a Heinrich Co stamps but if you do use them you will be entered twice for a chance to win. This week, our challenge is to use a stamped sentiment on your layout.
A few years ago my sweet daughter and I took an impromptu day trip down to Cannon Beach, Oregon to go play in the surf and see some of the area where the movie The Goonies was filmed years ago. It was just the two of us and we had a blast!
I love taking pictures and my cute daughter loves posing for them, so we make quite a pair with a camera and a nice backdrop!
I used the last of my page kits that I found at garage sales last summer. I think I’ve used all my home made kits too. I foresee a day in my craft room making new page kits in the very near future!
I used three different stamp sets this week for the challenge! I went back to a couple of old sets that were released last year. The sentiment used in the photo above is from Daffodil Greetings. The stamp used below was from Pansy Riot. All the sets are, of course, from Mark’s Finest Papers!
Since this is sneak peek week at Mark’s Finest Papers, I just had to use one of the new sets coming out next week called Tigers. I used the word “beautiful” to stamp the tab below.
We would love to have you join us this week!! You have until next Wednesday at 5 pm PST to link up!
