Welcome to Day 3 of our blog hop!  Today’s featured stamp set is called Out On the Town.  It has three different images of retro looking women in long gowns, and a few all-purpose sentiments.

I got a huge assortment of washi tape from dear sweet hubby last month for my birthday, that I’ve been excited to use. I thought this card was the perfect chance to do that!  I started with a piece of white cardstock to put all my strips of tape on.  I’ve noticed that most washi tape is pretty translucent, so if you put it on darker cardstock, it’s going to lose it’s true color.  With that in mind, I always try to start with a white base.

I stamped the in-vogue woman twice, fussy cutting her skirt out of one of the stampings.  I covered the skirt piece in purple washi tape and stuck it on the second stamping in the correct spot.  I really like the way it came out!

See you tomorrow!

Happy Scrapping!
