A Glittery Merry Christmas!

Happy hump day to you!  The week is half over and the weekend is coming!  Hubby and I are having a gigantic birthday party this weekend!  Our birthdays are a week apart and we’re celebrating the big scary 50 this year…yuck!  We figure we’ll be surrounded by family and friends and alcohol, and forget all about it!  Haha!

So here’s my weekly contribution to the advancement of purple in the world…my Purple Passion column over at MFP Speedy TV.

This past Saturday, a group of us got together for a belated National Card Making Day party.  Each one of us made up a card kit to hand out and teach the others in the group how to make.  It was a lot of fun and we all walked away with lots of cards in lots of new styles!  I really had a blast and learned a lot doing it!

The card shown here was my contribution to the day.  I used a pattern I found in the Silhouette store, and changed it up a little.  I used the glitter technique I’ve been playing around with lately to make the ornaments really shine and pop right off the card.

Tucked away on the inside of the card is my greeting.  I used a sentiment and the cute little holly leaves from the Mark’s Finest Paper’s stamp set Holly Jolly Greetings, that came out last year.  This set has some of the cutest little images in it, including a snowman and Santa!

Have a great week!

Happy Scrapping!
