Happy Tuesday scrappers and welcome to my coffee addiction! It’s my day to write my Purple Passion column over at MFP Speedy TV!
I always like to show you how to use my favorite color, PURPLE in your projects, even when traditionally, purple wouldn’t necessarily work. Today is a good example; how do you work purple into a card about coffee?
Well for starters, I found an adorable cut file in the Silhouette Store. It’s supposed to be a gift card holder, but I made a few modifications to make it into just a regular card.
I used the adorable Mark’s Finest Paper’s Oh Beans stamp set.
The outside “cup sleeve” is stamped with coffee beans and the inside has the sentiment and the stacked coffee cups image. I used Elizabeth Crafts Glitter Ritz for the sparkle on the cups. You can see a tutorial of this awesome stuff HERE
. After I got all the glitter in place, I used an old purple off-brand stamp pad to color the cups and then I used the coffee image again to stamp the insides of the cups.
Now…go use purple and make something awesome! See you tomorrow!
