Winter Snowflake Layout

Happy Thursday gang!  Welcome to the start of another challenge over at Mark’s Finest Paper.  This week, we have a theme challenge…one of my favorites actually…WINTER!  I love doing winter layouts and projects since I love snowflakes and snowmen and penguins and all the other adorable wintery paper piecings that are available on the web.

This week you have another shot at winning the cute Sand Dollar stamp set!

For my layout, I used a friend’s pic of her adorable cute puppy playing in the snow for the first time.  I couldn’t find ANY snow or winter-looking pic in my stash!!  So my friend helped me out with a photo.  I keep telling her I’m totally going to kidnap her pup one of these days!

I used a Silhouette cut (Ornate Snowflake) for the background, doing an offset to give the snowflake a shadow. The title is also from the Silhouette store.   I used the cute All Postal stamp set and a retired Christmas set, both from Mark’s Finest Paper and popped it off the page.

Don’t forget to come join us this week. You have until next Wednesday to link up your layout!

Happy Scrapping!

love your ornate snowflake and the blue background really sets off the white flake. Your title really pops out as well but the star of your page just has to be the cute pup. I remember when our girls(poodles) discovered snow – they just kept flying and landing in it and still love it. It's actually snowing up a storm out our window right now just ready for them to go to the dog park this afternoon.
