Since it’s October and Breast Cancer awareness Month, the massive Link Up for Pink Linky Party is back! I’m coming in near the end of it, and there’s already over 450 entries! How cool is that?!? Yolie and Celeste did such a fabulous job last year that I think it’s pretty much becoming an institution! If you have a chance, go take a peek at all the incredible entries!
For my card, I chose to use the completely adorable Save The Hooters Stamp from Fresh Brewed Designs. I just fell in love with the whole concept of this stamp. I used the “coloring on Glitter Ritz glitter” technique that I showed in THIS tutorial.
I snapped a side view to show you some of the glitter and sparkle. I did the technique just a little different this time. I stamped the image on white card stock, covered it with the special Scor-Tape, and glitter, and then colored. The glitter is translucent enough to see the stamp through it. I did go back after coloring though and darken up some of the lines with a black Bic Mark-It marker.
Here’s another shot that shows some of the sparkle. I used scraps from the DCWV Glam Gal stack, card stock I had on hand, and Imaginesce heat activated brads. I used a square punch to make the ends of my little banner.

Cute card! I love the glitter. I know two people going through treatment for breast cancer right now. It's so important to have those yearly check ups.
I didn't know you used to live in Albuquerque! This year the balloon fiesta has had to cancel several events due to bad weather. Today is the last day and I think the mass ascension went on without a problem.
