Well, I don’t know about where you’re living, but it’s FINALLY starting to feel like Autumn in Seattle. It’s still unseasonably warm, but the days are getting shorter and the nights much cooler. The frost will be here before you know it, and I’ll have a yard full of leaves that will look exactly like the ones on this Fall card! As usual, I’m entering the Crafter’s Companion Challenge for this month. The theme is Fall Colors. I think I got it!!!
I used the Crafter’s Companion Popcorn the Bear, Thanks a Bunch stamp set to fussy cut little Souffle the Duck and the sunflower and colored both with Distress Inks and a blender pen.
The leaves are from Stamps of Life and were fussy cut and then colored with different combinations of Mustard Seed, Tea Dye, Festive Berries, Spiced Marmalade, Wild Honey, and Peeled Paint Distress Inks. The sentiment is from My Creative Time and it was stamped in Tea Dye, Vintage Photo, and Walnut Stain Distress Inks. I used the Divine Swirls Cuttlebug embossing folder on the DCWV paper and background card stock to give my scene some motion and simulate a windy day. I highlighted the embossing in Tea Dye Distress Ink. I pop-dotted some of the leaves and the sentiment, and used a scrap of ribbon from my stash
This was the first time I had really played with so many colors of Distress Inks, and I really had fun!! More of these kinds of cards to come!

Well it's been looking like fall here for awhile now, we have a huge tree in the front of our house and the leaves just keep covering the grass, kids have had fun in them though!! Love the card so pretty!! cute little duck image!! Crop tonight, YAYAYA!!!!
