WOYWW #171

Happy Wednesday!  (or Tuesday to us U.S. peoples!)  Welcome to edition #171 of What’s On Your Workdesk Wednesday.  I ACTUALLY cleaned my desk off this week so that I could make a new mess on it.  I’ve been reading about people making ink pad holders out of foam core board and really wanted to try it myself.  On my desk you can see that I have a pretty good start to one.  I got that far and then ran out of board.  Hubby’s going to pick up a few more sheets on his way home from work tonight so that I can finish.  It still needs a back to steady it, and I decided to get brave and make some drawers for it, so those still need to be cut out and put together.  I promise to post pics when it’s completed!  In the mean time, if you would like to read the antics about my trying to build this silly shelf, and why strands of hot glue are a BAD thing, you might want to check out my Money-Saving Monday post.  Let’s just say it was an interesting experience!!

The badge button is hidden super easy this week…I’m going on a little sleep deprivation, so I thought I would go easy on us all!!  Have a GREAT rest of the week!

Happy Scrapping!

Oh,,,believe you me, I do know that strands of hot glue can be a bad thing.
I have met up with a few very hot strands…many a time.

After YEARS of hot glue experiences I never plug my gun in unless I have a bowl of ice water right next to it. The strands can be gotten rid of with a hair dryer or an embossing gun……if they are not attached to your hands !!!

Hi Amy what a fab construction project! Love it. I ready your other post and the spiderweb story made me chuckle! You can spend forever picking those pesky strands off a project – or you could go with it and add a plastic spider to your work – could be a great Halloween project! Happy WOYWW to you from Helen 5
