My First Pyrimage Card

Happy Wednesday!  I’m back with another entry for this month’s Crafter’s Companion Challenge (stripes and/or dots.) Once again, I wanted to try something that I had never done before, so this time I tried a Pyrimage card.  I REALLY like the way it came out!

Here’s a better look at the pyrimage portion of the card.   Pyrimage is taking several prints of the same picture and cutting them down smaller and smaller, then stacking them on top of each other.  It sounds complicated, but it really wasn’t, since I used the Crafter’s Companion Popcorn the Bear Floral CD-ROM.  The cd has the pictures already sized, and all you need to do is print and cut them out.  Well, I guess that’s not all you have to do…you still have to line those suckers up just right!

I sprayed some flowers with home made glitter mists, and then stacked them with a little bling in the center.  I used one of the sentiments from the Popcorn the Bear Someone Special stamp set.  I had a blast making this!  I hope you like it!

I will also be entering this card in the Simon Says Stamp Challenge – Anything Goes.

Happy Scrapping!

I like the pyramid cards. One of these days I shall have to try them myself. The image is very sweet. Somehow the words "strips and dots" sound like they would be jarring together but they work well. You can never tell with patterns.
