Happy (almost) Wednesday everybody!!!  Welcome to edition #169 of WOYWW.  It’s time for our weekly peek of desks around the world.

So…yesterday, I grabbed a plastic drawer that was brimming to the edges with layouts I haven’t finished yet.  I dumped them on my desk and started going through them…there is A LOT of them!  I noticed there were a few that were actually done and just need to find a scrapbook to hop into, but the majority needs journaling and a few finishing touches.  I tend to stop at journaling for some reason.  I don’t think it’s that I’m at a loss for words (I’m NEVER at a loss for words!!) but more that I’m just too lazy to break the printer out, and size and format everything I want to say.  I know…use my own handwriting…but it kind of sucks!  I like fancy fonts better!

Anyway, since I still owe my son and DIL a wedding scrapbook, (and they’ve been married for over two years!!)  I guess I better get on with it!  I found this cute little cartoon on a scrappy friend’s Facebook page this morning.  I’m sorry but there was no photo credit to go with it, so I’m not sure where it originated from….but I leave you with this…

Oh, and don’t forget to hunt for the WOYWW badge/button if that ‘s what you like to do when you’re here! It’s hidden…but it’s there!

Happy Scrapping!

I think you mentioned my middle name – too lazy to break out the printer…

    I so know that feeling..

But I have learned overtime that – writing something /anything down on those pages is worth it…

so hop to it.. and get journalling

    Have a great week..

Supper cartoon …I have had a lovely chuckle. I know what you mean about not liking your own handwriting. It is hard to just do it and not stress. Enjoy your week.

I'm not a scrapper but have started Smash books, so many ideas of things to do, so can only imagine what it must be like for those of you who scarp! Saw the badge, hidden there amongst the layouts! Take care Zo xx 118

  21. Tertia says:

LOL at the cartoon. I use my own handwriting, not b ecause I particularly like it, but because I have come to realise that my mom's letters are my most prized posessions now that she has passed. It is a direct link to her and somehow makes me feel she left a piece of herself for me.
    Happy WOYWW!

  22. Terry says:

I know it's nice to think a pretty font will be the perfect finish to your pages, but if you're doing these for anybody but yourself, you should know they'd love to have words written in your own hand. I cherish my mom's handwritten captions and letters.

  23. Julia Dunnit says:

Oemgee, that cartoon summarises so many people I know….! I'm a handwriter..for better or worse, I've read too much about how the handwriting is the 'artist signature' to the album..and anyway, I just want the page finihsed!

  24. laura says:

I didn't start scrapping until my children were in high school-so i'll never catch up and I've just accepted that.
