Happy Wednesday WOYWWers! I can’t believe it’s already time for another installment of What’s On Your Workdesk? Wednesday! Today you’ll find my desk piled high with lots of new goodies!!! The pic on top has a couple of Cricut cartridges I’ve won but haven’t played with yet. I just got done loading them onto my Gypsy, so that comes soon. There’s also a small jar of bleach that I want to try stamping with on dark paper. I’ve seen it done on other blogs, with tremendous results, so I’m eager to try.
Here’s a new pile of Tim Holtz Distress Ink pads I’ve had fun with lately! I just received 10 of these FREE in the mail a few days ago from Blitsy!!! HERE’S THE POST about Blitsy and getting them for free, in case you missed it. And YES, they DO SHIP INTERNATIONALLY! Anyway, I’ve been making a swatch guide for the Distress inks, since I haven’t really worked with them much before. They’re gorgeous!!

Great deal from Bitsy! LOVELY to have so much new stuff to play with – aren't you casual about your cartridges win…the rice of them over here makes that a very big deal! Meanwhile, am loving the 'pile it high'look of your desk!

Make sure you have a go with the bleaching technique its really fun (if you can stand the smell of the bleach)! I have done it on light coloured card too and that's a good effect. Enjoy your playing!

Just remember to open the windows when you use the bleach…it can get stinky!!! I love colour swatches, they're almost as pretty as a finished piece of art sometimes!! Trish #27

That's a great deal on those inks, lol! And the cartridges too for that matter. I'm saving up my Swagbucks Amazon vouchers for a set of Derwent Coloursoft pencils.

I haven't stamped with bleach in forever. I used to like to free hand draw with the clorox pens too. I should play with that again. Thanks for the reminder. Have fun with the TH inks too. LisaDV #86
Good luck with the bleaching. I didn't have too much success with that, even when I bought special bleachable card from Barbara Grey.
I've never used a cricut, but they looked good when I saw one being demonstrated at NEC. I use a Silhouette which doesn't take cartridges.
