Happy Monday! Ready to save some money? Here’s a great tip to help you get a little more life out of your favorite punches.

Tin foil and waxed paper are inexpensive fixes and work great! If your punches are starting to dull and you’re getting frayed edges or cuts that aren’t super clean, take a piece of aluminum foil (I fold mine into a few layers) and punch away! The aluminum sharpens your blades beautifully!
If your punches start to stick or not glide freely (or if you’re quasi-dorky like me and punch stuff that’s been taped with super sticky tape…oops!) then do the same thing with waxed paper. Fold it over a few times, and punch punch punch! The wax will lubricate the metal on your punches, and they’ll be good as new in no time!
