A Giveaway, A New Blog Design, And A New Campaign!

EDIT”  Rafflecopter was being a bit weird, so I added additional ways to enter if it doesn’t show up for you.    Please see below for new ways to enter the giveaway!

Hi Readers!  Welcome
to my grand re-opening and an exciting new CAMPAIGN I’m starting!  I’m SUPER excited to introduce you to my
beautifully new, super-efficient blog design.
Let me take you on a little tour of some of the new features.

On your right, you’ll see that the little scissors have been replaced by sleek new banners, and some new pages have been added.  If a page doesn’t have a lot of content yet, don’t you worry…I’ll be adding lots soon!  You’ll also notice some cute new social media buttons have been added.  What does this mean?  It means I’M ON TWITTER…heaven help me!  I’m just learning, so bear with me!  It also means you can find me tons of other places too.  Just click a button and see what happens.

You’ll also find a search bar so you can search for anything you want within the blog. There’s a new email subscription option, an easier way to follow Scrap This Save That on Facebook and a sexy new button that you’re more than welcome to post on your blog if you would like!
Now, let me tell you a little bit about my super talented
blog designer, Erin.  First and foremost,
she’s my beautiful and successful daughter-in-law.  She JUST earned her MBA and I couldn’t
possibly be prouder of her!!  In her
spare time (she has spare time?) she loves to cook , blog, craft, and DESIGN
BLOGS!

Her main blog (which she also designed) is http://mrsslay.blogspot.com A crafty, money-saving lifestyle blog.

She’s also designed: http://fitbytwitter.blogspot.com/  A health blog, and

http://domesticdaredevils.blogspot.com/  a foodie blog with GREAT recipes that she contributes to.

Erin mainly works with
Blogger blogs but has done some WordPress as well.
Here’s a header she made for a WordPress
blog:
http://laurenabell.wordpress.com/

Erin has decided to offer her mad blog designing skillz to
the bloggie world, and she’s starting here…in my little corner of the
internet!  Here’s a list of her current
services and prices:

* blog header $30
* button $20
* favicon $5
* set of all three (header, button, favicon) $50
* willing to discuss other options.

Since Erin starts from scratch and only does custom work (instead of copying things from other sites) you will always have something fresh and original from her.  If you’re interested in
what Erin is offering  (or know someone
who is,) you can email her at  (
[email protected]) and let her know what you might be looking
for.   If you’re not completely sure, she
can always browse your blog for ideas, too.
And because she is SO TALENTED, I’ll just say it in advance…you’re
welcome.
And THAT, dear readers, leads us to the info on the new
campaign I mentioned earlier.
Introducing ….

The Make Me
a Grandmother Campaign!

Here’s Erin in her own words…
“We are pursuing
adoption because it’s God’s call for our lives, and we have discovered that I
cannot give birth to a baby due to health conditions.
It will cost about $20,000 or more to adopt.  We
are putting all of our extra money towards it, but we can’t do it alone.
We are asking for donations, and I’m offering this [blog design] service to
raise money.”

So, there you have
it.  If you decide to choose to hire Erin
to help you with your blog, EVERY PENNY you spend will go towards helping to
MAKE ME A GRANDMA!!!   How cool is that?!?   If you’re happy with your blog already but
would like to find another way to help, she has a DONATE button on her blog
http://mrsslay.blogspot.com/

I would also like to invite you to
check out Erin’s blog , and if you like what you see, consider becoming a
follower.  The majority of her posts
focus on money saving tips (to save money for the adoption, i.e., MY NEW  GRANDBABY!) and crafting posts on everything from wall art, to decorating
the new nursery.  And folks, let me tell
you…this woman can decorate!!

And now, your reward for reading this far… A giveaway!  Erin is offering one of our lucky readers their choice of either a custom made header OR a new blog button for their blog! And I’m throwing in a $25 gift card to Michaels!  Please use the Rafflecopter to enter below.

Best of all GREAT things on Erin's journey to adopt, and to YOU (thus) on becoming a Grandmother. I can tell you from experience, NOTHING is better than being a Grandma. On Saturday, my precious 19-month old ran to me as I was leaving a day's babysitting (9 hours — exhausting!), looked up at me with her sweet blue eyes and asked for a hug. Can there be anything better?!

I'll check out all the blogs!

Also dont forget there is only one more sleep to the Great British Blog Hop! Thank you so much for taking part – you aren't due to post your creation until Thursday so one more day left to think British and get creative! whoo hoo. See you then!
