Okay, I Lied!

In my last post, I mentioned that DCWV and May Arts Ribbon would be posting the projects from the Summer Craft Challenge.  Well poor Erin from DCWV had surgery a few days ago, so they pushed back the post until Wednesday.  So check back on Wednesday to see the super secret project!!

In the mean time, here’s a “pretty” I made.  Me and hubby celebrated the 10th anniversary of our first date last week.  This was the card I made him:

“Forever & Always” is kind of our thing, so I wanted it on the front of the card.  I used the Fancy Frames and Paper Lace Cricut cartridges, and the Swiss Dots Cuttlebug folder for the front parts of the card.

Here’s what you see as you open the card…hanging hearts!

This is what you see when the card is all the way opened!  I really love the way this came out!  I used the Crafter’s Companion Ultimate Tool that I won last month…LOVE IT!!!

This pic gives you an idea of the build of the card.  It’s called a double pop out card.

I’m really happy with how it came out.  The CC Ultimate Tool came with a DVD that shows all kinds of cool cards, and how to make them step by step.  With their instruction, this card was actually easy to make!  Yay!

Have a great day and I’ll check in tomorrow!
