Hey Peeps!! I’m a little late posting this, but I really wanted to show you the Father’s Day card I made for my sweet hubs! Once again, I used the new Crafter’s Companion Ultimate Tool I won, from their FABULOUS design team last month. I’m having so much fun with it! The tool itself is cool, but the DVD that comes with it is where I’ve REALLY learned so much from! So, this book/card (technically, it’s called a Star Card) has lots of angles to it, so get ready for pictures!!
Here’s the front cover…I used the Father’s Day Cricut cartridge (for all the cuts) and a sentiment. All patterned papers are from the DCWV Downtown Loft Stack.
When you open the card, you start to see cute things dangling. This card is actually a pop-out card…times 5! (No, I’m not kidding…it’s 5 different pop-out cards, put together!) Although, this isn’t a Wii remote, hubby got the idea…we love to play Super Mario Bros!!
Hubs is borderline addicted to Pepsi…another one of his favorite things!

This is his cat Megan. He’s had her for about 16 years…longer than me! Haha! On the other side of this pic is a pic of our dogs (you can see part of the picture in the shot above.)
And this is our awesome kids!! Definitely one of his favorite things! On the back of this pic, is one of me and him 🙂
Here’s a shot of the card partially open…
…and this is what the card looks like fully open. You have 5 dangling pictures/items! And from the top, it’s shaped like a star (thus, the name.)
On the back of the card, I wrote my message and added a gift card envelope and a card to his favorite place to get garden goodies. I used square eyelets and twine to secure the card and envelope.
Hubby loved his card and his Father’s day! Emily took him to race go-carts for his gift…he was SO EXCITED, since he’s a car guy and loves anything fast! Here he is with daughter and daughter’s boyfriend…all of them acting nuts…as usual!!!
