I had SO MUCH FUN last week. I spent a few days in Seattle hanging out with my AWESOME daughter! She recently received a promotion and her own office, and asked me to come over to help her decorate a wall! (Here’s a post I wrote about the AMAZING non-profit agency she works for, and what they do.) It took her a while to figure out what she wanted, but finally decided on inspirational words and butterflies. (75 of those little suckers! Can you see them flying up the wall and into the corner?)
Before you say anything…YES, I know that cupcake isn’t necessarily an inspirational word…but it is for Emily!! It’s one of her favorite things on earth, and if you ever need to know where the absolute best cupcakes in Seattle are…ask her! I think she’s been to about every place that sells them! Haha!
Yes, that’s her reaching for the cupcake! Please note that we got to her office at 8 am, and other than leaving for lunch and dinner, we stayed til 12:30am…the next morning!
Here’s a close-up where you can see the butterflies better. They’re very subtle, but it looks incredible!
We had to put in one little green butterfly. He wanted to stand out!
Everything was done in vinyl (Glue Arts brand, and Contact Paper) on my Cricut with the assistance of Ms. Gypsy. If you would like any particulars on what cartridges the fonts or butterflies came from, just ask…because, honestly, it’s late and I’m sleepy and too lazy to go look them all up right now! Haha!
Have a WONDERFUL day!!!!!
