We have paper shelves and a WINNER!!!!

First of all…100 followers?!?!?  WOW!!  That is an AWESOME number!  I was always so excited when I saw other bloggers hitting that number, and now, I’m in the 100 club too!  Woot!!  I think I feel a blog candy coming soon!!  But for now, on to other matters…

WOOHOO!!  I can’t even tell you how excited I am!  The paper shelves are built and installed in the new craft room!!  If you have no idea what I’m talking about, but seem a little curious, go here to see the first post about our craft room re-do, and here to see the second post.

Here’s a pic of them under construction the other day.  Look at all those grooves for the shelves!

And here they are hanging on the wall!  Of course, they still need paint and trim, but hey, this is a great start!!  You can’t really tell in this pic, but they take up the whole wall that the craft room door is on!

To give you some perspective of how big these shelves really are…

That’s my husband standing next to them!  And I am only able to get 4 of the 5 columns of shelving in this pic!  I have 75 glorious spots to put paper in…ahhhh.  After they’re painted and trimmed, it’s going to take a while to get all the paper in color order!!  But it’s gonna ROCK when it’s done!!!

Okay, and now on to other important things…  a winner from the Old School Cartridge Blog Hop last weekend!  I had 54 comments! (it says 55 but one comment was deleted and redone, so the deleted one didn’t count)  So the official number that hubby drew out of the hat was number…

and comment #40 belongs to The Scrapbook Shop Around the Corner!!!  Yay Bella!  I’ll be sending you an email shortly!  Thanks for being a follower and my first-ever blog candy winner!!!

And thanks to all of you for leaving such sweet and thoughtful comments.  I really understand now why you all value the comments you get so much.  We all love our craft, but it’s very personal since it comes from inside us.  All those sweet comments are just positive validation of what we do, and make us love our craft that much more.  You guys Rock!

Hugs all around!

What fab storage – I have a thing about storage and love IKEA although they don't tend to do much for card/paper!!!

PS. Groups are facebook are spring up everywhere, crafty sellers is one which is worldwide (still mostly UK peeps tho) but you may be better trying to find a US one!!!)
